A finite-memory discrete-time convolution approach for the nonlinear dynamic modelling of S/H-ADC devices

چکیده
A non-linear dynamic black-box model for Sample-Hold and Analog to Digital Conversion devices (S/HADC) is proposed in this paper. It derives from the expansion of a Volterra-like series previously introduced by authors and it is based on a discrete convolution in the time domain which describes the non-linear dynamics of the system. The model allows a functional description of the S/HADC non-linear behaviour as the sum of two blocks which take separately into account the static and the purelydynamic contributions. The model characterization can be carried out by means of a simple and reliable measurement procedure and the model analytical representation allows an easy implementation in the framework of commercial available CAD tools for circuit analysis and design. Preliminary experimental results which validate the proposed approach are presented in the paper, together with some examples which show model capabilities in predicting device behaviour under non-linear operating conditions.

MULTI FRACTURE/DELAMINATION ANALYSIS OF COMPOSITES SUBJECTED TO IMPACT LOADINGS
A combined finite/ discrete element method is presented for modelling of composite specimens subjected to dynamic/impact loadings. The main task is set on developing an algorithm for simulation of potential bonding and debonding/delamination phenomena during impact or general dynamic loading conditions. In addition, full fracture analysis can also be performed. The proposed approach adopts a ge...
متن کاملFINITE-TIME PASSIVITY OF DISCRETE-TIME T-S FUZZY NEURAL NETWORKS WITH TIME-VARYING DELAYS
This paper focuses on the problem of finite-time boundedness and finite-time passivity of discrete-time T-S fuzzy neural networks with time-varying delays. A suitable Lyapunov--Krasovskii functional(LKF) is established to derive sufficient condition for finite-time passivity of discrete-time T-S fuzzy neural networks. The dynamical system is transformed into a T-S fuzzy model with uncertain par...
متن کاملApplication of Discrete Crack in Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis of Shahid Rajaee Arch Dam
the nonlinear discrete crack modeling of Shahid Rajaee thin arch dam is considered. The interface elements are positioned such that certain potential separated blocks can form possible failure mechanisms. The dynamic stability of theses blocks are investigated by a special finite element program "MAP-73" which its nonlinear algorithm and interface elements formulation are presented.
متن کاملA dynamic programming approach for solving nonlinear knapsack problems
Nonlinear Knapsack Problems (NKP) are the alternative formulation for the multiple-choice knapsack problems. A powerful approach for solving NKP is dynamic programming which may obtain the global op-timal solution even in the case of discrete solution space for these problems. Despite the power of this solu-tion approach, it computationally performs very slowly when the solution space of the pr...
متن کاملEffects of the asymmetric behavior of the shape memory alloy on nonlinear dynamic responses of thick sandwich plates with embedded SMA wires
In the present article, the dynamic behavior of sandwich plates with embedded shape memory alloy (SMA) wires is evaluated for two cases wherein (i) the stress-strain curve of the superelastic behavior of the SMA wires is symmetric and (ii) the mentioned curve is non-symmetric. A modified version of Brinson’s constitutive model is proposed and used. The high non-linearity in the behavior stems f...
